Taking the day off.

I’m not in the mood to write this morning. This has just been a really bad week: lack of sleep, a large and difficult workload, stress at work and zero exercise.

All of those factors, combined with a couple of other things, has me feeling like I’m about to explode this morning.

Rather than sit here and whine about my problems, I’m going to do something that always makes me feel better when I’m stressed: go mountain biking.

When I get back home I’m not doing a shred of work for the rest of the day. This is the literal definition of a “sanity day”.
