Yesterday’s upper body workout was one of the best since my cut ended. My energy was there, the weights felt light and my shoulder didn’t have even the slightest hint of pain. A very solid and enjoyable training session. I wish they could all be like that!
It rained all day yesterday, and I’ll bet the trails are running good this morning. Too bad I can’t ride: I have domestic chores forcing my hand. The sun is shining, and so I need to get the yard work accomplished while I can. With all the rain and warm weather the grass grew an incredible amount over the past week.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get a good ride in tomorrow and still be able to reap some of the benefits of the rain. Actually, if I ride tomorrow it may not be an aggressive ride. Lisa has expressed some interest in doing a little mountain biking for the first time in a long time. If she’s up to it tomorrow I’ll probably go ahead and bring my DSLR and make it more of a fun mountain biking/photography adventure. It’s been long time since I’ve relaxed and just enjoyed being out in the woods without racing as fast as I can, so that actually sounds pretty enjoyable. It’s black bear breeding season, and they are on the move. There’s a better than average chance I may finally see one!
I hope you have a great Saturday! Enjoy!
