I had a good start to my upper body weight training workout yesterday, but I sort of hit a wall on the last few sets. I have a feeling that Thursday’s mountain biking ride, which was hot and taxing, took a lot out of me.
After my workout I went outside and got a jump on this weekend’s yard work. I’m not sure that was such a great idea. The heat and humidity were miserable, and I was already tired from my workout. I’m still not quite sure why I decided to do that.
The nice thing about making a dent in the yard work yesterday is I won’t have nearly as much as usual to do out there this morning. I’m probably looking at two hours out there at the most.
I’m going to take it easy today. No mountain biking, but I’ll probably do a 45 minute LISS cardio session on my recumbent bike before I do the yard work. I need to work off some of the pizza I had last night for a splurge meal (which I didn’t even enjoy for some reason).
