Took yesterday off; JSF tattoo; Mastover sale ending soon!

Yesterday I said I was going to either go riding or get some projects done outside. I did neither.

I was feeling a little off yesterday morning: a slight sore throat (probably allergies), relatively weak and a little tired. Perhaps all of that was a result of the 5-6 hours I spent working outside in the sun on Saturday, I’m not sure. All I know is that yesterday morning when I stepped outside into the hot, humid air I instantly realized that I did not want to be out there. Heck, even taking Loki out back for a few minutes so he could go to the bathroom was a miserable experience. I took the day off, and I’m glad that I did. The projects can wait a week.

I’ve been up and working since 6:30 this morning, and it’s looking like I’ll be able to break away and ride today. It’s still going to be hot and humid (what else is new?) but today I’m up for it.

Yesterday morning I received a Facebook message from JSF member Ricardo Milheiro Rosa. Ricardo wrote:

“Recognize something familiar on my new tattoo ? An homage to all your inspiration, my friend. Thank you, once again… Cheers!”

As you can see here, Ricardo had the JSF logo incorporated into his awesome calf piece! I was both honored and surprised that someone felt highly enough about JSF to make our logo a permanent part of his body. I mean, I haven’t even done that. Hrm, maybe Ricardo is on to something…
