Legs feeling good, starting next training program; Server maintenance.
After Saturday’s 100 mile ride, I felt like I needed a day off from riding. I decided to listen to my body and I didn’t ride at all on Sunday. I think that was a smart move.
Yesterday I was feeling pretty good, so I decided to do a fairly light 16 mile ride and test my legs. My leg muscles felt solid, and I think I am more or less fully recovered (I felt some saddle soreness towards the end of the ride).
I’m not sure what’s on tap for today. I’m leaning towards doing the second workout in the 9-week Intermediate Build I training program. Some of you may recall that I’ve already re-rested my FTP (which is the first workout in this training program), and my new FTP is 294. With my new FTP this training program is going to be extremely tough. It’s either going to kill me or turn me into a beast. I’m sort of hoping for the latter. 🙂
NOTICE: I’ll be doing some sever maintenance this morning, including updating the kernels. The kernel upgrades will require rebooting the JSF severs, and so there will be some brief downtime. John Stone Fitness, the JSF Forums and JSF BodyShop will be unavailable during the reboot. The maintenance window is between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (EDT), and the downtime is expected to be less than 5 minutes. I apologize for any inconvenience.
9:08 AM EDIT: Maintenance is complete.
