Back to the iron yesterday; Trainer workout today.
I didn’t lift at all last week, and so yesterday I made it a point to get a good weight training workout in. I didn’t feel like riding anyway, as my badly bruised quad was still killing me!
This morning my quad is still hurting, but it’s definitely feeling better. I’m short on time today, so I’m probably going to sneak in an hour-long trainer workout. Hopefully my quad will hold up, as this next workout in my cycling training program looks pretty tough.
The other thing I need to try to do today is bed in my mountain bike’s new brake pads. I didn’t have time to do that after I did the big tune-up on Monday, and my quad wasn’t up to the task anyway.
I need to get back to work, my phone has been ringing the entire time I’ve been trying to write this morning’s blog, and several emails have come in. Looks like it’s going to be one of those days…
