I am doing The Warrior Ride to support Hope for the Warriors–join me!
I was planning to participate in the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia in Miami, Florida on November 10th, but I’ve decided instead to do a local 100 mile ride on that day. The ride I’ll be doing is called “The Warrior Ride”.
Registration for The Warrior Ride is $25.00, and all monies directly support a phenomenal organization, Hope For The Warriors:
The mission of Hope for the Warriors is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
This is an organization doing great work, and I’m proud and honored to do what I can to promote their cause. The ride is the day before Veterans Day, so come on out and support the brave men and women who selflessly serve our great nation.
There are two routes available: a shorter 40 mile ride, and the full 100 mile ride (I’ll be doing the Century). These rides are fully supported with ride Marshals and by Lou Ann the bus (you may remember Lou Ann from the 4 Rivers Century ride I did earlier this year).
Local cyclists, we need your help and participation–please join us! You can register online right now, or you can register by mail here (PDF). The sooner you register the better, as Lou Ann needs to plan her SAG supply requirements.
More information can be found at Ride Across USA.
If you can’t participate and would like to donate to Hope For The Warriors, you can do that here.
Please, come ride with us and show your support for our veterans!
