Excellent ride at Wekiwa State Park yesterday; Cut starts tomorrow! Dry and sandy trails at Wekiwa made for a great workout yesterday.

I like doing MTB training rides at Wekiwa State Park, but during the rainy season many of the trails are under water and not very rideable (although I’ve done it!) With the rainy season behind us, I thought I’d head over to Wekiwa yesterday for a ride. My last ride at Wekiwa was all the way back in April 2013, so I was looking forward to seeing the park again… The trails were in about… [Read more]

After a couple weeks of little activity, 2014 is off to a good start. Training over the past 4 weeks.

I took a couple weeks almost entirely off from training and riding in December. The week of December 16-22 I only did one 33 kilometer ride, and the following week I only did two rides for a total of 62 kilometers. I really didn’t have much choice, as I was extremely busy those weeks playing Xbox and getting fat. In all seriousness, I felt like I needed a little break from riding, so I’m glad… [Read more]

Here’s a general timeline of how I prepare myself… A few weeks out I purchase most of my proteins in bulk. This isn’t required, but personally I find that having all that stuff… [Read more]

The X9 is coming soon; Selling my Titan. X9 Evolution Hybrid Gym - Quarter View

As many of you know, for the past few years I’ve been working with a fitness equipment manufacturer, Bodyforce, on the development of an exciting commercial-grade home gym: The X9. I’m pleased to report that the X9 is finally complete! I’ve seen video of the finished X9 (complete with final paint and detailing) and it’s truly a thing of beauty. I saw a brief demo video in which one of the factory workers moved effortlessly… [Read more]
