Busy work day ahead; Final two days of my 2014 cut.
My scale weight this morning is 159.6 pounds, so I’m well below my goal weight of 160 pounds. Yesterday, for the third straight day, I consumed more calories than usual. The extra calories have helped, and I’m not feeling quite so famished and light-headed. I’ll probably eat a little higher than usual today, as tomorrow I have a very long 210 kilometer (130 mile) training ride.
Tomorrow is also the final day of my 2014 cut. After the big training ride it will be tempting to have a cheat meal tomorrow night, but I have not been ultra-strict for nine straight weeks only to have a cheat meal with 12 hours to go. So tomorrow night I’ll eat clean, and will likely enjoy a well-deserved cheat meal on Sunday night!
I need to wrap this up and get back to work–much to do today. Happy Friday!
