We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I hope my fellow Americans had a fun and safe Thanksgiving holiday! My family and I had great time, and yesterday when everyone left it felt like it was over way too soon. I’m already looking forward to having everyone back for Christmas.
All the food came out perfectly! Everything from the turkey to the stuffing to the cranberries was delicious, and because it was so good none of us could stop eating until we were well past full. Of course there were lots of leftovers, and so last night we basically had a second complete Thanksgiving meal. I feel like I’ve put on about 10 pounds in two days.
Today’s club ride is only about 100 kilometers (63 miles), but I’ll be extending that to get closer to around 130 kilometers/80 miles or so. I need to burn off some of the past couple days of food!
I have some Thanksgiving pictures, but I have not had a chance to go through them yet. Once I do I’ll probably post them here and on Facebook. Here’s a quick one Lisa took of me while I was preparing a roux for my gravy. That beard sure makes me look older.
