Excellent 102 mile training ride yesterday with Chris and Sebastian! Sebastian (left) and Christopher (right) having a laugh because I almost fell simply by riding over the small curb. My cat-like reflexes and exceptional bike handling skills kept me upright. Or I got lucky. You decide.

This past Wednesday I decided that I was going to do a 100 mile training ride on Friday morning. First mini-milestone reached; Looking forward to today’s ride!

When I’m cutting I like to set and acknowledge certain mini-milestones along the journey. Doing this helps keep me motivated as I work towards my ultimate goal. Heart rate issues with Garmin Edge 810 finally solved! After less than 1 mile of very easy pedaling both computers indicated that my heart rate shot up to 185 BPM.

This morning I’d like to follow up on my January 10, 2015 blog, “Garmin Firmware v3.40 issues…“. In that blog I discussed some of the problems I experienced after upgrading my cycling computer from firmware version 3.20 to version 3.40. Excellent hill training ride yesterday! Hector down on the top tube as we near the bottom of one of the speedy descents.

Recipes on MyFitnessPal Preparing the Ultimate Recovery Smoothie!

Unfortunately when you add a recipe to your food log on MyFitnessPal, there’s no way for someone else to click on that recipe and see what’s in it.
