My fat melting furnace is raging!
My diet and training must be perfectly dialed in right now, because the fat is melting away at an amazing rate! I woke up this morning down almost another half pound (current weight is now 166.0 pounds), and that brings my total weekly scale weight loss to 2 pounds after just 4 days, and my total for this cut to 13.2 pounds.
As I wrote yesterday, tomorrow morning I’ll be doing a fast 106 mile ride, and I’ll easily burn at least 3,500 calories on that ride. I think that by Sunday I will be down in excess of 3 pounds for the week and, if so, that would be a single week weight loss high for this cut (omitting the first week, during which a large amount of initial water weight was lost).
Exactly one month ago I was just shy of 180 pounds, and I sure could feel (and see) the added weight. It feels great to be back down to 166 pounds! All it took was a single month of hard work and dedication to make very significant positive changes to my body weight, my overall health and my appearance.
This kind of progress is precisely why I am an “all or nothing” kind of guy. When I decide I want something, I do everything I can to obtain it as quickly as possible. Nothing is more motivational than progress, and the best way to maximize progress is to do everything in my power to get me closer to my goals.
I know some people prefer to cut fat with very small changes, but I don’t see how anyone could be satisfied spreading what could be accomplished in four weeks over an entire year (or more).
