As of this morning my scale weight is down to 167.4, so that leaves me looking at just 3-4 more pounds. I expect my weight will drop a little more before Sunday’s weekly stats, especially because I’m planning to ride a century tomorrow.
Unfortunately, for the first time on this cut, I’m also feeling a little weak this morning, and super hungry. I’m not surprised by this, as I’m nearly five weeks in and I’ve not backed off on my training at all. I’m very much hoping that I can wrap this one up by next weekend.
I’ve been feeling a little off the past few days. I think part of the reason for that is lack of sleep. For some reason Buckley has been extremely restless the past few nights. He keeps coming to the top of the bed any laying across my head. I think he did that three times last night. That’s a hell of a thing to wake up to, let me tell you.
Buckley does great in his crate, and the first few nights we had him that’s where he slept. After a few nights we let him sleep with us, and he really seemed to catch on quickly that the bed was not a place for him to play. These last few nights, though, he’s returned to his playful nighttime puppy ways. Might be the crate for you tonight, boy. Sorry, but I need to get some rest!
