Suspending my cut…
I’m stalled again. I’m only down .2 pounds after another week of strict, clean dieting.
I know what I need to do. I’ve got to trim some calories and/or get my activity level up.
Lack of time is going to prevent me from getting longer rides in for the foreseeable future, and I don’t want to trim calories any further. We all know that low calorie fog that often comes with being in an extended caloric deficit, and I have to avoid that. Mentally I’ve got to be at the top of my game right now.
So, I gave it some thought, and I decided to suspend the cut for now. I’m at 9% body fat on the calipers (probably about 11% in reality–the calipers always read low for me), and 174.8 pounds. It’s not like I need to lose weight, I just feel more comfortable about 10 pounds lighter. It can wait.
So, I’ll pick things up again when my life calms down a bit.
