Today's News
It's almost time for the JSF cruise, and Lisa and I are getting really excited! My mom and her friend are coming all the way from Texas to house-sit and stay with the dogs while we are gone. My mom and her friend will be here a few days before we set sail, so I'm looking forward to hanging out and spending some time with them. Once I return from the cruise I'll be on vacation from work for another whole week, so that should give me plenty of time to recover from the wild times we are sure to have in Nassau.
I originally planned to make my last update to this site on Thursday morning, but I've decided to make this morning's update my final update before the cruise. I'm on vacation, but I have a tremendous amount to do to prepare for the cruise and my mom's visit. I'll resume my regular daily updates to this site when my vacation is over (Monday, August 25, 2008).
I'm going to start opening the "100 Challenges" for registration earlier in the month to help give people plenty of time to get signed up. So, with that said, next month's "100 Challenge" is open for entry! Details are immediately below today's update.
OK, so that about wraps it up! Those of you who are coming on the JSF cruise, I'll see you in a few days! If you were not able to make this year's annual get-together I'm sure we'll have plenty of pictures and stories to share with you when we return. Bon voyage!
Registration for the September 2008 "100 Challenge" is now underway! Your Official Challenge post must be made by 7:00 AM (EDT) on September 1, 2008 if you plan to participate--NO EXCEPTIONS! To participate, you must be a member of the forum. If you are not a member, simply create a free account. It can take up to 24 hours for your account to be activated, so don't wait until the last minute to register! For all the details, official rules and sample entry data, just head over to the September 2008 "100 Challenge" thread on the forum. If you are ready to work hard and want to challenge yourself in a fun and competitive environment, then please take part!

Dear JSF Members and Guests, When shopping online, please consider using the JSF Amazon Mall. The JSF Amazon Mall is a storefront for Amazon.com, but final checkout is still done directly with Amazon. You'll enjoy the exact same low prices, selection, security and benefits just as if you were shopping on their regular site. In fact, when you search for a product and that product is available from multiple sellers, the JSF Mall software automatically shows you the item from the seller with the lowest price first. This feature makes getting the best deal a snap!
When you shop Amazon.com through the JSF Amazon Mall you are helping to support this site and the forums and it costs absolutely nothing! Making your Amazon purchases through the JSF Mall is an excellent, no-cost way to show your support for JSF! If you prefer to shop directly on Amazon's site, you can still help JSF by using the Amazon Affiliate link before you start shopping on Amazon. It's that easy!
Thanks, P.S. Have a look at my "Favorite Things" thread if you want to check out some of the products I love and use every day! |
Before, During & Current Pictures
These two pictures were taken on the very first day of my transformation--January 6, 2003.
These two pictures were taken just a few short months later. I'd lost over 50 pounds of fat, and added muscle. Amazing changes are possible in a relatively short period of time if you are willing to work hard and dedicate yourself.
These pictures show how I look after over four years dedicated to a healthy lifestyle.
Skeptical? Please read this.
